Overview
Welcome to the Six Nations Predictions Championship! Test your rugby knowledge by predicting match outcomes and compete against fellow fans for the top spot on the leaderboard.
How to Play
1. Making Predictions
- For each upcoming match, predict:
- Winner: Which team will win the match
- Margin: By how many points they will win
- Submit your predictions before the match kicks off
- Once the season goes LIVE, predictions are locked and cannot be changed
2. Scoring System
- Your score for each match is calculated based on prediction accuracy
- Correct Winner: Your points = absolute difference between your predicted margin and actual margin
- Example: You predict Scotland by 10, final score is Scotland by 7 → You score 3 points
- Wrong Winner: Your points = your predicted margin + actual margin
- Example: You predict Scotland by 10, but England wins by 5 → You score 15 points
- Lower score is better - aim for the lowest total!
3. Leaderboard
- Rankings are based on total points across all completed matches
- The player with the LOWEST total score wins
- 🏆 Gold, 🥈 Silver, and 🥉 Bronze medals awarded to top 3
Season Phases
Private Phase
- Admin creates matches
- Players make and edit predictions freely
- Predictions are hidden from other players
Live Phase
- Admin sets season to LIVE
- All predictions become visible to everyone
- Predictions are LOCKED - no changes allowed
- Scores update as matches are completed
Account Management
For New Users
- Click "REQUEST ACCESS" on login page
- Provide your first name and initial (e.g., "John D.")
- Wait for admin approval
- Admin will create your account and you'll receive an email
- Use the password reset link to set your password
Password Management
- Use "Change Password" button in navigation anytime
- If you forget your password, use "Forgot Password?" link
- You'll receive an email to reset your password
Tournament Archives
- Completed tournaments are archived for history
- View past leaderboards and predictions in the "Archives" tab
- Compare your performance across multiple seasons
Fair Play
- Predictions must be submitted before matches start
- Once season is LIVE, no changes are allowed
- Admin decisions are final
